This program requires all applicants to have at least 1-year skilled work experience in their occupations. One of the advantages of this program is that applicants do not need to prove their connection with Canada. Therefore, it is an ideal option for those who have experience in their fields and living outside Canada. However, this program is quite competitive and its requirement in terms of experience, education, age and language proficiency are high. This is a point test-base program. This program requires all applicants to demonstrate at least 2 years experience in their trade occupation, and a valid full-time job offer in Canada, or a certificate of qualification in that skilled trade issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial or deferral authority. Therefore, this program, besides work experience, requires some sort of connection between the applicants and Canada. For more information about this program, click here.
Stream 1: Foreign entrepreneurs who want to start and run a business in Quebec.
Stream 2: Foreign entrepreneurs who wishes to create a new business or acquire an existing business and manage the business operation.
Foreign investors who want to invest in a business in Quebec.
Applicants who are over the age of 18 years old, completed Canadian equivalent of at least a secondary school general Diploma and have the intention and ability to become self-employed in Quebec.
To be eligible for any of the six streams in the TR to PR pathway, you must prove your ability in English or French, depending on the chosen stream in the pathway.
For the health care and non-health care essential streams, the minimum language requirements are Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) or Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) Level 4 in reading, writing, speaking, and listening with results being no more than 2 years old when you apply. For the recent international graduate streams, the requirements are Level 5.
To be eligible for any of the six streams in the TR to PR pathway, you must:
– be employed in Canada when you submit your application
– be employed in any job that exists in the National Occupational Classification website
– be employed by someone else, meaning you cannot be self-employed – Except for medical doctors who are in a fee-for-service arrangement with a health authority
– be paid by your employer, meaning you cannot be a volunteer
– be working with authorization
A Canada Visitor Visa – also known as the Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) – allows people who are not, and do not intend to become permanent residents or citizens, to enter Canada to work, study, travel, and visit friends and family.

A TRP is a legal document that you have to apply for if you are inadmissible to Canada, but you have a valid reason to enter the country. To be eligible for a temporary resident permit, your need to enter or stay in Canada must outweigh the health or safety risks to Canadian society, as determined by an immigration or a border services officer. Even if the reason you’re inadmissible seems minor, you must demonstrate that your visit is justified.
